Almond kheer

badami Kheer


Milk 2 litre

sugar 1 cup

Rice flour half cup

Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp

Pistachios and almonds chopped

Grinded almonds 6

khoya  100 gm(milk solids obtain from curdled milk)


boil milk add cardamom pwd and leave on low flame for one hour when its colour become brownish add rice flour and stir continuously with wooden spoon. cook 10 minutes then add sugar and grinded almonds when kheer get thick texture add khoya and stir well.

garnish with almonds and pistachios. Serve cool

For rich brownish colour add brown sugar in place of regular sugar.
