Khoobani ka meetha

Khoobani ka meetha is a traditional Pakistani sweet dish recipe.It is dried Apricot delight..It is a yummy desert with apricot sauce,custard and cream.
Ingredients::

For apricot sauce:

Dried apricots, 250 gms ,soaked  in half cup of water

Sugar 3/4 cup

For custard:::

Milk 1 litre

Sugar 1/2 cup

Vanilla custard powder 6 tablespoons

Beaten Cream 200ml

Cooking Directions

Boil apricot in the same water in which it was soaked. Cook till tender.

Let it cool and

Crack open the apricot seeds..Discard seeds.


blend deseeded apricots with hand blender.


Cook apricot pulp with sugar on medium heat till the mixture thickens..


Let it cool.

For custard:::

Milk 1 litre

Sugar 1/2 cup

Vanilla custard powder 6 tablespoons

Beaten Cream 200ml

Cooking Directions

For Custard: First dissolve custard powder in 1 cup of milk.

Now heat remaining milk and add 1/2 cup sugar. Stir well and cook till sugar dissolve.

Then slowly pour dissolved custard and cook till it turns thick.

Let it Cool .

Take a serving dish set a layer of apricot mixture. Now pour custard and decorate it with cream. Refrigerate and serve chilled.
