Raw Mango pickle with Homemade masala

This raw Mango pickle is called kachomar.


Raw mangoes 1n1/2 kg

Wash and dry with paper towel.now peel all mangoes and cut lengthwise like French fries.spred them in a flat bowl.

Now add 5 teaspoon of salt and 3 tsp of turmeric all over the raw mangoes.mix well and cover with a piece of cloth.leave it in an open area under sunshine for 2 days.

After 2 days you will observe that it has leaven some water.add the following spices in it and mix well.

Oil 2 cups

Home made Achaar Masala For 1 and 1/2 kg Raw mangoes

Crushed red chillies 4 teaspoon

Red chilli powder 4 teaspoon

Crushed Mustard seeds (Rai) 1/4 teaspoon

Crushed fennel seed (saunf) 1 teaspoon

Nigella (kalonji) 1 teaspoon


Stir the pickle daily .it will be ready after 15 days.
