Imli ki chutney ( tamarind chutney)


Tamarind 250 gm

Warm water 2 cup

Sugar 3/4 cup

Salt 1 teaspoon

Chili powder 1 tbsp

Cumin powder  1 tsp (roasted )

Dry ginger powder 1 teaspoon

Brown sugar 4 tablespoons

Cooking Directions

Soak tamarind in hot water.

Remove seeds and keep the pulp aside.

In pan put together tamarind pulp, chili powder, dry ginger powder, sugar ,brown sugar,salt and roasted cumin powder.

Mix well, cook for 5 minutes.

Remove from heat.

Cool completely

Serve with you favorite snacks and meals.
