Chicken kofta curry


for curry
oil 4tbsp
Onions 4 (sliced)
Garlic paste 1tbsp
Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

Coriander powder roasted 1 tsp

Desicated coconut 1 tablespoon

Salt 1 tsp

Yogurt 1 /4 cup

Cooking Directions
Heat oil in a pot.
Add sliced onion, fry till they are lightly brown.take it out from oil.Now
Add in  garlic paste, fry again till it releases aroma.

Grind fried onion ,coconut  and yogurt.

Now mix well grinded mixture in chicken.

Mix in salt,coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric and fry well.

now add 1 cup of water and simmer on low flame.

for meat balls(koftas)


chicken mince 1/2 kg

Salt 2tsp

Red chilli powder 2 teaspoon

Green chillies 4

Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon

Roasted cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon

Garlic paste 1 teaspoon

Brown onion 1 tablespoon

Desicated coconut 1 tablespoon

Oil 1 tablespoon

Yogurt 1 tablespoon

Roasted gram flour 1 tablespoon

Chop all the ingredients in food processor.grease your hands with some oil and make meatballs.



Now shallow fry these balls and add in prepared curry.simmer for 15 minutes and sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder.turn off the flame.serve with chapati..
