Boneless mutton handi
It is our traditional dish cooked in handi.
1 kg Mutton boneless
1 big Onion ,sliced,fry till golden brown
1 tbsp. Ginger paste
1 tbsp. Garlic paste
2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/4 tspTurmeric Powder
coriander powder 1 tsp
grinded poppy seeds 1 tsp
1-1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp All Spice
1/2 cup Plain Yogurt ( beaten)
1/2 cup Cooking Oil
Roasted desicated coconut 1 tsp
Roasted and grinded sesame seed 1 tsp
Step by Step Method
In a handi or deep frying pan, heat cooking oil until well hot. Add onions and fry until drown.
To the onions add all of the spices ,meat, plain yogurt.
And fry for about 5 to 10 minutes, by adding a little water if necessary to prevent burning and sticking to pan.
Add 1/2 cup of water; when water comes to a boil, cover and let meat cook on medium to low heat until meat is tender.
Add green chillies and Boneless Mutton Handi is ready to serve.
