Easy Pakistani Creamy Palak Gosht Recipe (beef with spinach)

Palak Gosht is a nutritious Pakistani dish made with spinach and with beef or mutton. The ultimate taste of the recipe comes from the ingredients like tomatoes, onions, fresh coriander, turmeric, red chilli powder, and ginger root.Generally in palak gosht we use beef with bones.

Creamy Palak Gosht is truly delicious and unique in taste. I have cooked it in a different style without tomatoes. I have used boneless beef . I have added yogurt and cream and cook it in just 1 tbsp of oil.

Ingredients:

Boneless beef 500 gms

1 tsp salt
1 tsp red chilli pwd
1/2 tsp turmeric pwd
1/2 cup yogurt

1 chopped Onion

1 cup water

1 tbsp oil

1 kg chopped spinach leaves

2 tbsp ginger garlic paste

6 green chillies
1/2 cup cream
2 tbsp kasuri meethi
1/2 tsp garam masala pwd

2 tbsp chopped Coriander leaves

Method:

Saute a chopped Onion in 1 tbsp oil ; then fry 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste .Then add 500 gm boneless beef with some butter or margarine.Fry well..Now Add 1 tsp salt
1 tsp red chilli pwd
1/2 tsp turmeric pwd
1/2 cup yogurt

1 cup water

cook till beef is tender.

Then add 1 kg chopped spinach leaves and cook on low flame for 20 minutes..then fry well till all water dries out and add
6 green chillies
1/2 cup cream
2 tbsp kasuri meethi
1/2 tsp garam masala pwd

2 tbsp chopped Coriander leaves

Mix well and turn off the flame.
