Lauki gosht/ (bottle Gourd curry)
Beef with bones ½ kg
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Onion 2 big cut in slices
Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Salt 1 teaspoon
Roasted Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
Oil ½ cup
Yogurt 1 /2 cup
Tomatoes 3 big
All Spice powder/Garam masala powder 1/4 tsp
bottle Gourd(lauki) 250 gms (cut in big slices)
Heat oil in a pan add onion and fry till golden brown. Take it out from oil. Now blend fried onions with tomatoes and yogurt. Set this mixture aside.
Fry beef in the same oil. Then add ginger garlic paste and fry well. Then add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder ,salt and blended onion paste. Fry well till oil separates.
Now add 2 cups of hot water. Cook on low flame till oil separates and meat tenders.
Now add gourd(lauki) and simmer for 15 minutes.
Sprinkle all spice powder and turn off the flame.
Serve with chapati or with boiled rice.
