Today I am posting a Guest post winner recipe for Quick Ramadan meals which has been sent by my sweet blog reader Saima Shaheen…..It is Fish Pie recipe….

Fish pie Recipe

Ingredients:

one carrot

one capsicum

five mushrooms

two green onion

four green chillies

3 tbsp maida ( fine flour)

three tbsp oil

two cups milk

fish fillets cut in cubes

1/2 tbsp oil

two tbsp ginger garlic paste

crushed white pepper

crushed black pepper

a pinch of salt

1 tsp lemon juice

half cup cream

Ready made Puff pastry dough

1 egg beaten

Method:

Chop one carrot one capsicum five mushrooms two green onion four green chillies. Set aside.

Fry 3 tbsp maida ( fine flour) in three tbsp oil on medium heat then add two cups of milk stirring constantly when gets thick add vegetables mix it and set aside.

Take six to eight pieces of fish fillets cut in cubes .

Take One and a half tbsp of oil in pan on medium heat add two tbsp of ginger garlic paste then add fish . Add crushed white pepper, crushed black pepper a pinch of salt and a half lemon juice. When it gets dry add half cup of cream remove from stove . Mix fish mixture in vegetable milk mixture with very soft hand .pour it in baking dish.

Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface. Cover the fish mixture with puff pastry. Brush it with beaten egg . Bake it at 180 degree for about half an hour. Serve hot .
