Today I am posting a Guest post winner recipe for Ramadan meals which has been sent by my sweet blog reader Hiba Siddiqui…..It is Chicken bread recipe .
Flour: 2 cups
Yeast: 1 packet
Milk: 1 cup
Boiled shredded chicken: 2 cups
onion: 1 mesium
Salt: 1 tsp
Black pepper: 1 tsp
garam masala powder: 1 tsp
Flour: 2 tbsp
butter: 2 tbsp
milk: 1 cup
green chillies nd coriander leaves : acc to you
Pour milk into a large bowl; sprinkle with yeast and let stand until foamy, about 5 minutes.
Whisk sugar, oil, and salt into yeast mixture. Add flour and stir until a sticky dough forms. Transfer dough to an oiled bowl and brush top with oil. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and set aside in a warm, until dough has doubled in bulk, about 1 hour. Turn out onto a lightly floured work surface and gently knead 1 or 2 times before using.
Now heat butter and add onions in it fry it till onions becomes soft now add flour with salt nd blck pepper and garam masala aftr adding spices add milk nd cook till the mixture become thick . add shredded chicken chillies nd corainder leaves and stir it well.
Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Brush some softened butter over it.Put your filling in the center of the rectangle and make slits on both of the longer sides.tart bringing the topmost slit ends across from each other alternately. Keep going, remember to alternate, like a crisscross fashion. Left to right…right to left.Grease a tray and place your breads. The recipe says to make 2 loaves but I prefer dividing it into three and making three average sized loaves. That is up to your preference! Apply egg-wash and sprinkle the sesame seeds…then bake in a preheated oven at 200 C for about 25 minutes or until done.
