Qeema Pulao 

Beef minced meat Pulao

For making Qeema ,,,,, beef minced meat
Beef Minced meat 1 kg

Ginger paste 2 tbsp

Yogurt 2 tablespoons

Garlic paste 2 tbsp
Medium size Tomatoes 5 chopped
Coriander leaves ½ bunch
Green chilies 4 to 6
Red chili 1 tbsp (ground)
Salt 1 n1/2 tsp
Coriander powder 1 teaspoon

Cumin powder 1/2 tsp

Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
Oil 1/2 cup

Cooking Directions
Heat oil in a wok and  fry ginger garlic paste .
Add minced meat and fry well.
Add salt, ground red chili, cumin powder,garam masala pwd,coriander powder,yogurt,tomato and some water.

cook until the meat is tender

Put the lid on and leave it to cook.
When mince meat is tender then add green chillies and coriander to it.Set aside..

For making Pulao rice


Rice 4 cups soaked in water for 20 minutes

Salt 2 tsp

Ghee or clarified butter 4 tbsp

Water3 cups or as required

White cumin 1 tsp

Black cumin 1/2 tsp

Cloves 4

Green cardamom 3

Black cardamom 2

Bay leaf


Onion 4 sliced

Heat ghee in apot and fry onions till golden brown  .Now take out half of the onions from oil.Set aside.Now add garam masala and fry .

Then add rice fry a bit

Now add water its level should be enough to cover rice.
Cook on high flame .When all water dries out!it will take 10 minutes or more ,stir well and then simmer for 5 minutes.

Now Mix cooked Beef mince and golden brown onions.Serve with raita or yogurt.

    This looks like a great and easy to make recipe. Thanks for sharing. I only have brown basmati on hand though. Do you think it’s a good idea to try this recipe with that?

      It is good to make it with brown rice..Use butter for frying onions..It will be scrumptious…

    That’s my style of favourite food! Looks really easy and yummy. Just one question: what is ginger paste? Could it be replaced by normal fresh ginger?
