Eggless Chocolate Mousse

Quick Eggless chocolate Mousse


Gelatin 1tsp

Cold water 1 tbsp

Boiling water 2 tbsp

Liquid Whip cream 1 cup

Coco powder 1/4 cup

Grinded sugar 1/2 cup

Vanilla essence 1 tsp


Soak gelatin in cold water for 2 minutes then add in boiling water.

Beat the cream till fluffy.Add gelatin and remaining ingredients.Beat till smooth.Now put this mousse in desert bowls and decorate with cream.Refrigerate at least 2 hours.Serve chilled.

    So easy? I remember making it once in school days had to add egg whites and yellows separately but this is so easy. Inshallah will try it this weekend provided i find halal gelatine

I am also so glad to see that you utilize real whipping cream as those things like Cool Whip contain hydrogenated soybean oils, which is difficult for our bodies to break down!This is something I will have to try for the hubs since he devours chocolate

    Oh, I never did mousse au chocolate without real chocolate. I love the taste of dark chocolate. But yours seems to be a fantastic idea when you have cravings, no chocolate at home and no mood to go to the shop again. Didn’t know that it can be done with cocoa. Could also work out with carob poweder. Thanks for sharing!
