Potato samosa (Aaloo samosa)

Potato samosas
For Dough:
Flour 250 gm
Salt to taste
Carom seeds ½ tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Water as required
Or ready made samosa sheets 1/2 kg
Filling for 1/2 kg samosa sheets:-
Potatoes 1 kg (boiled and mashed)
Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
Green chilies 2 – 3 (chopped)
Turmeric a pinch
Salt 1 n 1/2 tsp
Red chilli pwd 1n ½ tsp
Khataai pwd 1/4 tsp
Mustard powder 1/4 teaspoon
Chaat masala 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin pwd1/4 tsp


Mix all the ingredients in mashed potatoes..

Put a portion of potato mixture on the samoosa sheet and fold.

Seal it with a runny batter of flour and water or egg white.

Repeat the same with all samoosa sheets and freeze these samosas for ramazan in plastic ziplock bags or Tupperware.
