Ingredients For Bihari pasandey masala

20 whole red chilli
2 tbsp coriander
1 tbsp whole garam masala
1 tbsp cumin

1 tbsp peanuts

Dry roast all above ingredients and add 1 tsp poppy seed and 1 tsp Desicated coconut…Grind all these in coffee grinder and make a powder ….

1kg beef cut in thin strips(pasendey).  Flatten

1/2 cup meat tenderizer
1 and 1/2 cup yoghurt
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
2tbsp Besan or gram flour

3 tsp salt

Half cup oil
4 small onion sliced
Coal for smoke
For garnish
Onion slices
Green chillies
Chopped coriander leaves

Deep Fry 4 sliced onion till golden brown.take it out from oil.

Take them out from oil.
Grind onion with 1 and 1/2 cup  yogurt.

Now add 3 tsp salt,8 tbsp raw papaya paste ,2 tbsp roasted gram flour,and grinded dry mixture in grinded brown onion
Marinate 1 kg pasandey/beef strips ,with this mixtue for 1 hours or more.

Heat 1/4 cup oil in a pot and add marinated beef .fry well and cook on low flame for 1 hour and 30 minutes.Stir occasionally.

Add little water ,if required.

When meat is tender and water from meat dries out.fry well. Now put a piece of burning coal in pot and cover the lid.your Bihari pasandey is ready to serve.
