Everybody makes kaleji in the first day of every bakra eid.
Mirch Masala Kaleji recipe by Chef Zakir is a delightful Main Course recipe of Mutton liver. Mirch Masala Kaleji can be ready in approximately 30 Minutes and good to serve around 4_6 People. Follow all the steps recommended by Chef Zakir to get a perfect dish, specially do not exceed the cooking time.If you will cook mutton liver more than 30 minutes,then it will become hard.

½ kg mutton liver
1 onion
2 tomatoes
250 grams green chilies
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
Lemon juice of a lemon
½ cup dry achaar masala
2 tbsp khatai powder/dry mango powder
1 tbsp crushed red chili
1 tsp turmeric
Salt as required
¼ cup oil

In a bowl mix together achaar masala, a little oil and lemon juice. Mix well.
Stuff the green chilies with prepared masala. Cut the liver into slices.
Heat oil in a wok, add sliced liver and fry till its color is changed. Then add salt, turmeric, crushed red pepper and dry mango powder/khataai powder. Fry for a few minutes.
Now add stuffed green chilies and simmer on low flame. Dish it out and serve hot.
