Red Chilli Beef Steak in pan

Ingredients::::

For Marination:

Beaf Sirlion/ Undercut 500 gms steak pieces

salt 1 tsp

roasted cumin powder 1 tsp

red chili powder 1 tsp

Crushed red chilli 1 tsp

minced garlic 1 tbsp

Soya sauce 1 tsp

Red chili sauce 1/2 tsp

olive oil 1 tbsp

Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp

Olive oil for frying 2 tbsp

For Sauce:

Salt

Sugar

Chilli garlic ketchup sauce

butter

2 tbsp of corn flour

Method:

For Marination::

Season steak pieces with the salt, roasted cumin powder, red chili powder,minced garlic, crushed red chili,Soya sauce, Red chili sauce ,olive oil and black pepper. Leave it to marinate for 5 hours.

For shallow Frying in pan::

Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a nonstick pan over medium heat for 1 minute.

Add steak pieces and cook until a golden brown crust has formed on both sides, 4-5 minutes per side.  If the pan is getting too dry, add a bit more olive oil. Let the steaks cook uncovered on low flame till done and tender.

For Sauce:::

  1. After the steak has cooked, transfer to a plate and pour any accumulated meat juices from the plate back into the pan and return to medium heat.
  2. Scrape up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan. Add Salt,Sugar,Chilli garlic ketchup sauce and butter and stir until combined. Dissolve 2 tbsp of corn flour in 1/4 cup of water. Add into the pan and cook until the sauce thickens slightly, 1-2 minutes.
  3. Serve beef steak with sauce and fried rice.
