Budget friendly Pakistani Style Food Grocery List_Things that you must have in your Pakistani Kitchen Pantry

I always go to the Grocery store with a grocery list in hand — preferably organized by sections of the store.

Grocery List is essential to help me remember what I need to buy, and also limits my time in the store, keeps me on track with my budget, and helps me prevent to buy extra or useless things beyond the budget.

You should try to shop in your familiar grocery stores when you’re tired, stressed or in a hurry. You’ll find what you need and be able to get out with what you need quickly.

First of all, Check out your left our groceries that you have in your kitchen pantry. Make grocery list according to your need and consumption.

Food Grocery shopping tips to save money::
Grocery shopping is a significant expense for most families and households, but there are ways to make it more affordable.
The one tip that will likely save you the most money when you’re grocery shopping on a budget is to plan your meals and snacks ahead of time. By planning ahead, you can make your shopping list based on what you already have, what you still need to buy and what’s on sale in your grocery store.

I have not included Frozen food and chutneys or sauces etc. in the list because this is a budget friendly list that include essential grocery items. Make your own tomato puree, mix vegetable packets for freezing, Chaat Masala, ginger garlic paste, frozen brown onion etc.

Buy less canned and packaged convenience food Items. Make your  homemade dry Masala powders to avoid more packet masalas, but they are time savers so you will have to buy some commonly used packet masalas.

Check out old grocery items in your pantry for expiry date. If they have short expiry date then store them in refrigerator. Try to use them as soon as possible.

Make use of household items to give your pantry more storage space.

Old crates, cartons, plastic baskets, space-saving racks, pencil holders, magazine racks and other household items can be a smart and inexpensive way to add even more storage to your pantry. If everything has a special place or holder, you’ll be less likely to mess it all up…

  1. Interesting idea to go to the supermarket when you don’t want to. When I lived in Karachi, my go-to favorite supermarkets to go to with my parents were Imtiaz Store & Metro.
