I made these

chilli garlic stir_fry beef strips according to pakistani taste. It is spicy because I added green chillies ,whole red chillies and chili garlic sauce. If you want less spicy then you can add tomato ketchup.

I made it using  undercut meat for making beef strips.

Undercut is the best cut being the top sirloin. … The Undercut is Popular in Pakistan, the undercut is the lean and tender meat of the loin muscle, found on each side of the cow’s vertebral column. It’s cooking time is less so I choose undercut beef to cut into strips.

For making rice,I have used basmati rice. You can use any of your choice..

Serves 2 persons

Ingredients for Pakistani style chilli garlic stir_fry beef strips::::

Beef undercut (250 gms) cut into strips

Oil 2 tbsp

Garlic cloves chopped 1 tbsp

Whole red chillies 3

Green chillies 4 cut in half

Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp

Salt 1 tsp

Soya sauce 1 tbsp

Chilli garlic sauce 4 tbsp

Corn flour 2 tbsp

Method:

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan ,fry chopped garlic. Then fry green and red chillies.

Now Stir_fry beef strips for 5 minutes. Then add salt and 1/2 cup of water. Cover and cook on low flame for 15 minutes.

Then add soya sauce ,chilli garlic sauce and black pepper powder . Stir well. When meat is tender then dissolve 2 tbsp of corn flour in 1/4 cup of water and add in it. Stir well and cook on high flame for 2 minutes till it gets thick . Then turn off the flame.

Now Pakistani style chilli garlic stir_fry beef is ready to serve.

Ingredients for garlic and egg fried rice:::

Rice 2 cups boiled with 1 tsp salt

Oil 4 tbsp

Garlic cloves chopped 1 tbsp

4 Green chillies chopped

Eggs 4

Soya sauce 2 tbsp

Salt 1 tsp

Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp

White pepper powder 1/2 tsp

Method::

Boil 2 cups of rice with 1 tsp of salt. Strain on a strainer and set aside.

Heat 4 tbsp of oil in a wok. Fry chopped garlic. Then fry green chillies.

Beat 4 eggs in a bowl with 1 tsp salt and pinch of black pepper powder.

Add in to the wok and fry. Break the eggs into pieces. Then add boiled rice,black pepper powder 1/2 tsp,

White pepper powder 1/2 tsp and Soya sauce 2 tbsp. Fry well on high flame then turn off the flame.

Serve with beef chilli stir_fry.

  1. This looks exciting. Did you use fresh chillies or do they come in a jar or can? I am going to try the garlic and egg fried rice. did you used Basmati rice?

      Yes,I have used fresh green chillies and whole red chillies and basmati rice. Fresh green chillies and Whole red chillies are easily available in Asian grocery stores.
