Dumba Karahi Recipe/Lamb Karahi

Ingredients

Dumba/Lamb Meat with fat 1 kg

Ghee or oil 1/2 cup

Ginger paste 2 tbsp

Garlic paste 2 tbsp

Red chili powder 1n 1/2 tsp

Turmeric powder ½ tsp

Salt 1 n 1/2 tsp

Black pepper Pwd 1/2tsp

Roasted cumin pwd 1 tsp

Fresh Ripe tomatoes 6(peel and blend)

Roasted coriander powder 1 tsp

Whole bullet Green chilies 6

Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp

Cooking Directions

Heat oil in a wok.

Add ginger garlic paste, fry till it releases aroma.

Then add meat , fry nicely till the oil starts to float.
Now mix in blended tomatoes, cook for some time till the tomatoes are a bit pulpy.

Mix in salt, red chili powder, turmeric

Now cover the lid and add 1 cup of water. Simmer on low flame till meat is tender and the oil starts to float.
Now add coriander pwd,black pepper,cumin pwd. Mix well and add fresh coriander and green chilies, fry again for few minutes. Take it off the flame.
