Mayo,Garlic, herbed Potato balls
This is an easy recipe. You can make these ahead of time and freeze. These are good for Ramadan to keep frozen.
Ingredients
Potatoes 4 medium size (Boiled and mashed)
Oil 1 tbsp
Garlic minced 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Crushed Red chillies 1 tsp
White pepper powder 1 tsp
Mayonise 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp fine chopped
Oregano 1 tsp
Green chillies 2 fine chopped
Corn flour for coating (as required)
Method
Take a frying pan , heat one tbsp of oil and fry 1 tsp of freshly minced garlic till golden brown.
Now take a bowl and mash the boiled potatoes. Add fried garlic and mix well. Now mix in all the ingredients with mashed potatoes. Mix well and make potato balls. Coat with little corn flour and remove the excess cornflour. Keep these potato balls in freezer for 10 minutes.
Now deep fry till golden brown on medium high heat. Fry in different batches. Do not owercrowd the pan.
