Chocolate bundt cake with toasted Almonds

This bundt cake is very easy to make.It is soft and moist chocolate cake with toasted Almonds.It is quick recipe for tea party and good to make for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day treat.You can quickly make it and can give it to friends and relatives as a gift.Just wraps in beautiful packaging and surprise your friends or relatives.

Serves 12 persons

Ingredients

Flour 1 cup sifted

Grinded Sugar 1 cup

Cocopowder 1/4 cup sifted

Baking powder 3/4 tsp

Baking soda 3/4 tsp

Oil or melted butter or olive oil 1/4 cup

Egg 1

Milk 1 /2 cup

Vanilla essence 1 tsp

1/2 cup boiling water..

Directions

Preheat oven to 180°c….
grease bundt pan  with oil and dust flour.
Sift together dry ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.
Take a bowl and add egg , oil ,grinded sugar ,vanilla essence and milk;beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. .Now add dry mixture.Mix well .Then pour hot boiling water..Mix well (Batter will be thin.) Pour into greased and floured bundt  pan.Bake 20 minutes on middle rack of the oven.Cool  10 minutes before removing from pan. Then put a dinner plate on pan and remove bundt cake on plate.Cool it on wire rack .

For topping,,

Melt 1/2 cup of shredded cooking chocolate on double boiler.Now take a frying pan and add 1 tsp of butter.Toast 2 tbsp of sliced Almonds till golden.

Spread melted chocolate on bundt cake and put toasted almonds on top.Serve with a cup of tea or coffee.

If you want pouring consistency of  chocolate to pour on bundt cake then add 1/4 cup of milk in it while melting.
